Eva Lock

Eva’s creative experience starts with nine years in London pursuing a career in advertising. Saatchi & Saatchi amongst other top advertising agencies benefited from Eva’s business and creative energy, as did later, several ‘global brand’ companies.

In 1991, Eva move to Leamington Spa and continued to work in advertising whilst undertaking an access to Fine Art course at The Warwickshire College.

She progressed to study Fine Art with the University of Central England (Birmingham) and also studied privately under Neil Moore and the late Barry Burman.

Eva then ran a successful commercial art business for four years, creating and supplying artwork to some fifty offices, restaurants and commercial buildings around the country.

To help promote other artists and to run exhibitions Eva also opened and ran a The Art Squared gallery in the Cotswold’s.

Eva’s artwork rarely sees a paintbrush, instead she applies paint to canvas by rolling, pressing, rubbing, scratching, pouring as well as her own innovative printing. Her work emphasises texture and pattern.

Eva now runs a studio from Tuscany in Northern Italy and is in the process of opening a new gallery in Italy. Visitors welcome!!
